Why is it so hard to obey God, yet so easy to disobey. Is it because people just don’t think God means everything that he says? Is it because he can’t be seen so they think that they can, “cut corners” and it won’t be noticed. Or is it simply because they can’t really trust God for important matters in their lives? Whatever it may be, disobedience is really unbelief. We can’t say that we believe in God but then disobey what he commands. Nevertheless, people continue to prefer their way to God’s way. We continue to be a stiff-necked people.![]()
Prayer: Father your law is meant to be for our eternal good. Yet we are quick, at times, to disobey and follow our own reasoning instead. Forgive us for our unbelief. AMEN

In His Great Commission, Christ himself instructed us to go out among the world and teach the saving truth exactly as He told us and to baptize in His Triune Name. He has called to all of us, who once lived in the darkness of unbelief, to follow Him and to learn to live anew.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
